Penny Dale’s Dinosaur Books
Shared storybook reading is huge for our kids. These books are a great example of books with lots of sounds, interaction, verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs, story structure, and more.

Journey Trilogy
These are my favorite wordless picture books. They are filled with inferences, rich vocabulary potential, and narrative structure.
Games & Activities

Pop Up Pirate
Games like Pop Up Pirate are great for motivating speech practice.

Hidden Gems
This activity can be paired with speech practice. Kids are super motivated by finding hidden objects. Around Easter, I enjoy hiding mini objects in eggs.

Big Feelings Pineapple
Chewy Tubes help with toning the muscles and for oral sensory input.

Little People Cruise Ship
Little People play sets are a fan favorite. Good for: pretend play, verbs, nouns, location/basic concepts, pronouns, following directions, cause and effect.

Spinning Stacker Toy
Great for cause and effect and early play and language skills.

Melissa and Doug Puzzles
Puzzles, especially ones with magnets provide opportunities for labeling and basic language skills.

Tacos Play Food Set
Play food sets are very interactive. You can work on nouns, verbs, following directions, social skills, location concepts, etc.

Dot Markers
Dot Markers are very multipurpose. Great motivators as well as good for early language development.
